As an eligible employee of a GM supplier company or sponsored spouse, you’ve earned the GM Supplier Discount. It gives you a special discount below MSRP on eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. Combine your discount with most current offers to save even more.
The GM Supplier Discount Program
The General Motors Supplier Discount Program (the "Program") provides eligible participants (each a "Participant") residing in the United States with the opportunity to purchase or lease new and unused vehicles (“Eligible Vehicles”) at the Program price from a participating dealer.
By purchasing or leasing an Eligible Vehicle through the Program, both the Participant and the Sponsored Purchaser acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Rules and Guidelines.
It is the Participant’s responsibility to know these Program Rules and Guidelines. Violations of these Rules and Guidelines by any Participant will result in sanctions against the Participant. The Program Manager shall have sole discretion at all times to enforce these Rules and Guidelines and suspend a Participant’s and/or a dealer’s participation in the Program.
The Program may be withdrawn at any time, and its terms are subject to change from time to time by GM. Final decisions in all matters relating to the interpretation of these Rules and Guidelines rest solely with GM.
The Program cannot be retroactively applied to a prior purchase or lease.
Employee Eligibility
Who is eligible for the GM Supplier Discount?
If you’re an active hourly or salaried (full- and part-time) employee of an eligible GM supplier or business associate (e.g., fleet and commercial customer) or sponsored spouse residing in the United States, you are eligible for the GM Supplier Discount. Contract employees are not eligible.

What is the vehicle discount?
The GM Supplier Discount program allows eligible employees of GM supplier companies, and their sponsored spouse to purchase or lease eligible vehicles at a special discounted price below MSRP. Plus, you can combine the discount with most current offers to save even more. When you build a vehicle to your exact specifications on this site, you can view MSRP and the GM Supplier Discount price, simply follow the prompts.

How do I take advantage of the GM Supplier Discount?
To use the discount, get your Company Code, which is listed alongside your company’s name on the About the Discount Page under Company Eligibility, and register or sign in on the home page. Select “GM Supplier Discount” from the Programs menu. Then choose "Get Authorization Number" and follow the prompts. Print out your authorization number and take it, along with proof of eligibility (see below), to a participating GM Dealer.
The dealer MUST have your or your sponsored spouse’s authorization number prior to completing the lease or purchase of an eligible vehicle in order to take delivery.
What should I bring as proof of eligibility?
You must present the following along with a valid authorization number:
- A copy of your company ID/badge or a copy of a current pay stub (within the last 30 days) with all information redacted except the date of the pay stub, your name and name of your supplier company.
- A copy of your driver's license with the driver’s license number redacted.
How many vehicles am I eligible to purchase/lease?
You may purchase/lease up to two (2) eligible, new and unused GM vehicles per year under both the GM Supplier Discount Program and the EV Supplier Allowance Program.
As an eligible participant, can I title a vehicle in the name of a living trust?
Yes, as long as the living trust bears the name of the eligible participant.
How long do I have to keep a vehicle to qualify for the GM Supplier Discount?
Vehicles must be retained for a minimum of six (6) months from the vehicle delivery date.
I recently bought/leased a new GM vehicle. Can I still apply for the GM Supplier Discount?
No. Previous purchases/leases are not eligible.
Does my authorization number expire?
Authorization numbers are valid for 90 days toward the purchase or lease of an eligible, new vehicle. You must take delivery of the vehicle prior to the authorization number expiring.
What happens to my authorization number if I don’t use it before it expires?
If you don’t use your authorization number prior to the expiration date, the authorization will be added back into your account. To purchase or lease, you will have to obtain a new authorization number by following the prompts in the Programs menu.

Are my family members eligible for the GM Supplier Discount?
For one (1) year after you purchase or lease a new GM vehicle under the GM Supplier Discount Program, you can share your discount with one friend or family member. You can share two (2) discounts per calendar year. See the "Share Your Discount" section below for more information.
Share Your Discount
Can I share the GM Supplier Discount with friends and family members?
Each time you purchase or lease a new GM vehicle under the GM Supplier Discount Program, you can share the Supplier Discount with one friend or family member. Share it for up to one year from the date of your vehicle purchase. Once you obtain an authorization number, your friend or family member will have 90 days to use it.
Who is eligible to share the GM Supplier Discount with friends and family members?

Does my friend or family member have to take delivery by a specific date?
You have up to one year from the date of your vehicle purchase or lease to request an authorization number. Your friend or family member has 90 days from the authorization number's date of issue to take delivery of their vehicle with supplier pricing.
What information do I need from my friend or family member to request an authorization number for them?
You will need their date of birth and ZIP Code.
How do I get an authorization number for my friend or family member?
Sign in on the navigation menu above and click on the "Share Your Discount" link from the Programs menu. Select "Get Authorization Number" and follow the prompts.
What will my friend or family member need to take to the dealership, and do I have to go with them?
All they need is the authorization number you acquired for them and their photo ID. You do not have to go to the dealership with them.
Can my friend or family member order a vehicle and still receive the GM Supplier Discount?
Yes, if they take delivery of their vehicle on or before their authorization number expires (90 days from its date of issue).
What if my friend or family member changes their mind? Can I cancel their authorization number and get a new one for someone else?
If an authorization number is in "Requested" status, it may be canceled. To cancel the authorization number, sign in on the navigation menu above and select “Share Your Discount” from the Programs menu. Then select “Void” to cancel the appropriate authorization number.
Will my friend or family member be able to get this special discounted pricing on top of other GM offers?
This program is compatible with most other regionally advertised cash allowances or APRs. You'll need to check with your participating GM Dealer for details on specific offers, or simply select “Offers” from the top navigation menu of this page.
Financial
Can I combine the GM Supplier Discount with most current offers?
In most cases, yes. Either see "Offers" on this site, or visit your GM Dealer for details to see how the values add up.
Do I have to purchase or lease through GM Financial?
No. You can purchase or lease through any financial institution. However, some APR offers are exclusive to specific financial institutions.
Does the purchase/lease require a down payment?
Your dealership will be able to provide details on the down payment for your chosen vehicle.
At the Dealership
Can I receive this discount from any GM Dealer?
This program is available through all participating U.S. GM Dealers and is voluntary on the part of the dealers. Dealer participation is on a vehicle line basis. Please inform your dealer of your intention to use the GM Supplier Discount during your first contact with your dealer. If your dealer elects not to participate, you may visit another GM Dealer.
Can I order a vehicle through this program, rather than choosing one from my GM Dealer’s inventory?
Yes, you can receive the discount when you order through a participating GM Dealer.
Are dealer-installed options covered by this discount (e.g., theft-deterrent devices)?
No. Any additional dealer-installed options, conversion/upfit* packages, General Motors Protection Plans and other extra-charge items will be supplied at a price agreed upon by the customer and the dealer.
*Equipment from independent suppliers is not covered by the GM New Vehicle Limited Warranty. GM is not responsible for the safety or quality of independent supplier alterations.
Are dealer demonstration vehicles included in this program?
Yes, if the vehicle has less than 7,500 miles and a dealer demo allowance has not been paid on the vehicle. See your dealer for details.
Can I use a trade-in with this program?

General Motors Supplier Discount Program Rules & Guidelines
Overview
The General Motors Supplier Discount Program (the "Program") provides eligible participants (each a "Participant") residing in the United States with the opportunity to purchase or lease new and unused vehicles (“Eligible Vehicles”) at the Program price from a participating dealer.
By purchasing or leasing an Eligible Vehicle through the Program, both the Participant and the Sponsored Purchaser acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Rules and Guidelines.

Eligibility
Participants must be eligible to participate throughout the entire purchase process – from the date the process is started through the date of vehicle delivery.
Eligible Participants
This program is available only to Eligible Participants, defined as:
- Active employees of eligible GM supplier companies who reside in the U.S.
- Active employees of eligible GM fleet and commercial companies who reside in the U.S.
Sponsored Purchasers
Participants are able to sponsor their spouse.
Each time a Participant purchases or leases an Eligible Vehicle under the Program the Participant will have the opportunity to sponsor an eligible individual through the General Motors Share Your Discount program for the purchase or lease an Eligible Vehicles at the Share Your Discount program price from a participating GM dealer. The Participant will have one year from the date of their qualifying purchase to exercise this opportunity. Refer to the General Motors Share Your Discount Rules and Guidelines for more details.
GM has the final decision on all eligibility requirements.
Program Rules
Authorization Numbers
Each Participant is limited to a certain number of Authorization Numbers each year to purchase or lease Eligible Vehicles under both the General Motors Supplier Discount Program and the General Motors EV Supplier Allowance Program, Participants are eligible for two (2) authorizations per year.
Each Authorization Number is valid for 90 days from the date it was issued to purchase or lease an Eligible Vehicle at the Program price. The dealer MUST have your or your sponsored spouse’s authorization number prior to completing the lease or purchase of an eligible vehicle in order to take delivery.
After it has issued each Authorization Number, GM will send the Participant who requested the Authorization Number an electronic confirmation notifying him or her that an Authorization Number has been issued. The Participant must report to GM any unauthorized authorization numbers immediately. Participants who do not report any suspicious or unauthorized use of an Authorization Number issued by him or her may be subject to the sanctions referenced below.
Required Documentation
In addition to a valid authorization number, Purchasers must present the following documents to a participating GM dealer in order to purchase or lease under the Program:
- A copy of the Participant’s valid company ID/badge or a copy of a current (within the last 30 days) pay stub with all information redacted except the date of the pay stub, Participant’s name (payee) and name of supplier company (payer)
- A copy of the eligible Purchaser’s driver’s license, with the driver’s license number redacted, showing the ZIP Code and Date of Birth that was used to obtain the authorization number. The eligible Purchaser’s Date of Birth and ZIP Code must match the eligible Purchaser’s driver’s license.
Eligible Vehicles
For a list of Eligible Vehicles, please visit gmsupplierdiscount.com and select “Vehicles” on the home page. Some models may have limited availability. Vehicle eligibility may change at any time without notice.
Inducements
Participants are prohibited from soliciting or accepting money or discounts, except GM-sponsored incentives, from dealers or any other persons in connection with the sale of Eligible Vehicles under the Program. At no time shall a Participant accept payment or other consideration from dealers for referrals. However, Participants may accept inducements of nominal value, up to $50, provided the inducements are offered to the general public and are noncash in nature, such as a free first oil change. This prohibition does not apply to a fuel fill if provided by the dealer at the time of delivery.
Pricing Sheet
Included in required paperwork at the dealership is the GM Vehicle Purchase Customer-Dealer Agreement and Pricing Sheet (“CDA”). The Participant should review the CDA at or before vehicle delivery and, after it has been completed, sign the completed CDA. The Participant should NOT sign a blank or an incomplete CDA, nor should the Participant sign a CDA if the Program price from the vehicle invoice does not match the vehicle price on the CDA. If the Participant has any questions or concerns about the purchase or lease, he or she should ask the participating dealer for clarification BEFORE completing the transaction. The CDA must be signed to complete the transaction at the Program price.
Documentation Fees
Dealers will be permitted to assess a maximum of $75 in documentation fees, except when:
A documentation fee is specified in the applicable state law
OR
Your dealership charges all customers the same documentation fee (excluding all customers purchasing under the GM Employee, Military, First Responder, Healthcare Professionals, Executive Referral and Dealership Employee Programs).
Titling Restrictions
A vehicle purchased or leased under the Program must be used for personal, noncommercial use/transportation by Participant. It is prohibited under the Program to purchase, lease, register, or title a vehicle in the name of a business or to dispose of the vehicle prior to the retention period. In addition, it is prohibited under the Program to purchase or lease a vehicle for commercial use.
Vehicles purchased under the Program must be registered, licensed, titled, insured and owned by the Participant or Sponsored Purchaser. The Participant or Sponsored Purchaser must be the person named as the Purchaser on the CDA form. Vehicles may also be titled in the name of a living trust that bears the Participant’s or Sponsored Purchaser’s name.
Vehicles may be titled with a co-buyer provided the Participant or Sponsored Purchaser, who is named as the Purchaser on the Customer Dealer Agreement, is listed as a co-buyer on the:
- Title
- Registration
- Financing documents
- Insurance documents
Participants and Sponsored Purchasers who enter into financing agreements (i.e., a loan or lease) are obligated to repay all amounts whether they are an individual buyer/lessee or a co-buyer/co-lessee.
Vehicle Retention Period
If the Participant is purchasing or leasing a vehicle under the Program with cash or through a loan, the Participant must own and retain the vehicle for at least six (6) months from the date of delivery.
GM reserves the right to modify the retention rules at any time. Retention periods for some vehicles may be different than the retention period referenced in previous versions of these Program Rules and Guidelines.
Audits
GM will conduct periodic audits to ensure the integrity of the Program and of Program compliance by Participants. Participants may be asked to furnish documentation supporting eligibility, vehicle retention, and compliance with these Rules and Guidelines. Documents requested may include, but are not limited to company ID/badge, pay stub, marriage licenses, etc.
General Motors reserves the right to audit dealership records and disqualify any sales that do not meet the Program guidelines. Any money improperly paid to any party based upon representations from a dealer or Participant shall be charged back accordingly.
Failure to comply with an audit request may subject the Participant to the sanctions referenced below.
Sanctions
Violations of these Rules and Guidelines, including, but not limited to, violations of eligibility rules, retention periods, titling restrictions by the Participant will result in sanctions against the Participant. Sanctions may include, but are not limited to, the loss of privileges (two (2) years per violation) and repayment of monies.
The sale of any Authorization Numbers, or any unauthorized use of an Authorization Number, is prohibited. A Participant who violates this provision will be suspended from the Program for five (5) years per violation and will be required to repay the incentive monies. Subsequent violations of this rule may result in permanent suspension from the Program.
In addition, GM may pursue legal action against any individual or entity for violating these Rules and Guidelines.
Additional Information
Dealership participation is voluntary. To determine a specific dealership’s willingness to sell vehicles under the Program, the Participant should contact the dealership directly. If a dealership is not willing to sell a vehicle through the Program, the Participant may contact or visit another dealership.
During the initial dealer inventory buildup when new models are introduced, and from time to time thereafter, it may be necessary for GM to restrict purchases on certain models under the Program. Please visit gmsupplierdiscount.com to find a current list of Eligible Vehicles.
The Program does not constitute an agreement between GM and any individual for the purchase or lease of any vehicle at a specific price. However, by purchasing an Eligible Vehicle through the Program, the Participant acknowledges and agrees to abide by and be bound by these Program Rules and Guidelines.
These Program Rules and Guidelines may be modified by GM at any time, in GM’s sole discretion.
GM may unilaterally modify, change, or withdraw the Program at any time.
Compliance With Applicable Laws
If any law or regulation is adopted or interpreted which, in GM’s opinion, prohibits or penalizes the implementation of the Program, then GM may, in its sole discretion, cancel the Program or any order submitted under the Program without any further obligation and without any liability to either the dealer or the Participant.
THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CANNOT BE MODIFIED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN GENERAL MOTORS.
